My goal is to help you work with newborns and studio light. I will teach you to achieve the best possible images straight out of camera. Proper exposure and white balance are so important to creating great images. We will focus on transition of poses to keep a sleeping baby asleep, as well as angles and composition.

We will also focus on how to pose baby safely, and “naturally” to achieve timeless images. I will show you soothing techniques to help achieve a seamless session. We will discuss selection of props for a newborn session and see what works for each pose. We will do posing on the beanbag and posing with props. I will go over my complete workflow with you. I will share how to educate parents to ensure your session is set up for success. Even before your client sets foot inside your studio :)

You will be able to see up close how to achieve these poses along with the steps to recreate them. You will be right along side of me as I pose, soothe and transition our little newborn model. Feel free to ask questions during any point, you are here to learn :) The floor is yours, anything is up for discussion :)

You will also be able to photograph setups to use in your own portfolio!!
